As a tutor, I don't worry about what the world or school needs from my students. I care about what makes my students come alive. Then, I help them find that aliveness in their schoolwork, in their dreams, in their writing voice, in their reading mind, and in their studying heart. As a dynamic, vital, life-long learner, I model what it means to bring authenticity and courage to the task of being alive, to the task of acquiring knowledge, and to the task of shaping myself into the best person that I can dream of being. I have confidence that my students can do and become all that they desire, because I am fiercely committed to that process in myself. Success is the natural outcome of developing the core, authentic Self, and to the absolute best of my abilities (and getting better all the time!) I show up as my best Self with my students, and help them show up, in school and in life, as their best Selves as well.
